Addie, Ethan and Julie
The first weekend of December, Lex and I drove to Tucson to celebrate Ethan's third birthday. Julie made him a fantastic Spiderman cake and he was thrilled!

Addie loved her princess purse and accessories from Grandma B - she's such a girlie girl!!!
Two nights later, 70 mile an hour winds blew down parts of this tree next to and onto Julie and Daniel' house. The first one fell across their back steps, crushing the railing and a swamp cooler but miraculously missing their car! Check out their blog for more photos!
This second hunk fell diagonally across their house breaking a truss, puncturing their roof, and damaging their patio cover.
Julie, Daniel and kids drove out for Christmas on the 17th and Jessica followed two days later. It was so nice to have everyone in house for Christmas! We even managed to get together with the Fischer-Bairds, too. Even little Tristan was there but we missed Stacey and Nathan. Oh, how the families have grown!

We had a wonderful Christmas made even better by family and friends! Jessica, Lex and I then went out to the desert house and spent the long New Year's weekend recuperating!
