Waiting for the bats to fly out from under a bridge over the Rillito River. Ethan thought we were going to see baseball! Sorry, Spud, no baseball just lots of flying bats!
Grandpa and a tuckered out Addie, 7 months big!
Waiting for the Shoot Out at Trail Dust Town! So, I still haven't figured out how to post photos in anything but a random order. Maybe if I did it more often...
Anyway, here's a brief rundown of what we did in September (other than work!)!!!
I had a chance to tent camp for a couple of nights at the beach at Camp Pendleton's Camp Del Mar with some friends from my Girl Scout leader days. The weather was fabulous and we walked and talked and golfed and had a great getaway. Thank you ,Elizabeth and Susie!!!
Then, Lex and I went to Uncle Walt's place for the day with Lou and Lynne! The lines were short and weather cool so we rode rides that we'd avoided for a long time. We're still saving those wet rides for a warmer day, though!
The following weekend Lex and I drove to Tucson for a long weekend and enjoyed Ethan and Addie immensely! Addie showed off her speed crawling while Ethan helped Grandpa work on Julie's car, watched a Stunt Show and Shoot-Out at Trail Dust Town, and watched thousands of bats fly out from under a bridge as dusk fell to darkness. That was an amazing sight. When we told Ethan we were going to see some bats he would say,"Baseball!"
My Mom finally got the biggest fountain she could find installed on her south patio! And she couldn't be happier with it!
On the 27th, Nancy and I took a Longarm Quilting class. We'll be able rent time to use the machine and maybe catch up on qulting the tops we've been producing! On to October...
